Last Moments from the Holidays

Happy new year! Even though the holidays are over, I have one more Chistmas themed post left to share with you today. First of all, I wish you all the best and may all your dreams and plans become reality. I hope you are surrounded by wonderful people and experience amazing things!

Some of you may know that 16 is my favourite number. There is no particular reason why, it’s just the things it reminds me of when I see it. So I hope 2016 is good not only to me but also to all of you. It’s definitely going to be a tough one, with a lot of challenges and lessons to learn. But I am more than certain that in the end it will all come into its place. Hope there is much more travelling than last year, much more time for myself, much more compelling books to read, much more beautiful things to look at, much more amazing memories to remember, much more inspiration, and much more smiles on my face. I wish this to all of you! Embrace the new year with determination and be ready to leave your comfort zone because otherwise you will not experience any change!

Честита нова година! Дори и празниците да приключиха, остана последна публикация, свързана с Коледа, която искам да споделя с вас. Най-напред искам да ви пожелая всичко най-хубаво и нека всичките ви мечти и планове станат реалност. Надявам се да сте заобиколени от прекрасни хора и да преживеете чудесни неща!

Някои от вас може би знаят, че 16 е любимото ми число. Няма конкретна причина защо, просто го харесвам заради нещата, за които ми напомня, когато го видя. Така че се надявам 2016 да е добра не само за мен, а и за всички вас. Определено ще е трудно, с много предизвикателства и житейски уроци. Но съм повече от убедена, че в края всичко ще си дойде на мястото. Дано има повече пътувания от миналата година, повече лично време, повече интересни книги за четене, повече красиви неща за гледане, повече хубави спомени, повече вдъхновение и повече усмивки. Пожелавам това на всички! Бъдете готови за новата година с решителност да напуснете зоната си на комфорт. Иначе няма да има никаква промяна.

Winter Favourites

The winter season has finally arrived! So we all have to be prepared to enjoy a lovely period of 2 or 3 months of cold weather. We should not forget that apart from the freezing conditions outside, we have to keep warm and cosy on the inside (not only literally). That’s why I’ve prepared some of my all-time favourite things I use during this time of year. I have even created a Christmas playlist for you, whose link you can find below. Hope you enjoy!

Зимният сезон най-накрая е тук! Така че всички трябва да сме готови за периода от 2-3 месеца студено време. Не трябва да забравяме, че въпреки леденостудените условия навън, е необходимо да е топло и уютно вътре (не само буквално). Затова съм подготвила част от най-любимите ми неща, които ползвам по това време на годината. Даже съм ви приготвила коледен плейлист, чийто линк ще намерите по-долу. Дано ви хареса! Winter is the season when my skin becomes drier than ever! That’s why all sorts or creams are accepted! This one in particular is from Mixa’s repairing hand cream range, a similar one I wrote about in last year’s favourites. It’s one of very few which actually keeps my hands soft for a long period of time!

Зимата е сезонът, когато кожата ми става по-суха от всякога. Затова всякакви кремове са позволени. Този тук е от възстановяващата серия за ръце на Mixa, за подобен такъв писах в миналогодишната публикация. Той е един от малкото, които наистина оставя ръцете ми хидратирани за дълго време.

Christmas is the time when all kinds of sweets are allowed, including sweet scents like the one above. Remember – never overapply!

Коледа е времето, когато всички сладки неща са позволени, включително и аромати като този по-горе. Но запомнете – никога не слагайте в повече!

Christmas sweater are an all-time essential! Whenever I see similar patterns like in the jumper on the right, I’m reminded of Home Alone or the Santa Clause films.

Коледните пуловери винаги са необходими! Когато видя подобен десен като този на десния пуловер, винаги се сещам за филмите „Сам Вкъщи“ или „Договор за Дядо Коледа“.

Being Cosy for a Change

Our lives are so full of life. A weird but absolutely true metaphor. This life consists of all of our ideas, passions, emotions, regrets, and we decide in what particular direction to aim all of this. During the last month or two I started feeling differently, perhaps more mature, or not really, but there is certainly a change. A change consisting of tiny and not so tiny things that happened to me, transormed my mind and inspired it to look at things with another eye. A change big enough to share with all of you. In a creative way.

To be honest, I had no idea that I’d share this in this post today. But I felt like it so why stop my brain storm? What has happened to me might probably be your main question. Well, I finally got my driving license (after 3 times of failing – not funny), I generally started thinking differently, reading and being more interested, I became even more certain of who I am and what I want to study in university next year (I attended a journalism course, which was last week, and I felt as if I’m in the right place).

The tiny part of the things shown above that made me think differently are convincing proof that change is important, crucial. That it will affect this blog as well, that it will be more colourful (not only literally), full of information, ideas, inspiration. I hope there will be things that will interest every girl and woman. Basically making dreams come true – not only mine, but the other people who will be involved in all of this – my very first online platform (which you are already on). Stay tuned!

Животите ни са пълни с живот. Странна, но напълно вярна метафора. Този живот се състои от всичките ни идеи, страсти, емоции, съжаления, а ние решаваме в коя посока да ги насочим. През посления месец-два започнах да се чувствам различно, може би по-зряла, а може би не, но със сигурност има промяна. Промяна в малки и не чак толкова малки неща, които са ми се случили, променили мисленето ми и вдъхновили ме да гледам на нещата с друго око. Промяна, достатъчно голяма да споделя с всички вас. Чрез креативност.

Ако трябва да съм честна, нямах представа, че ще споделя това в днешната публикация. Но защо да спирам тази мозъчна атака? Какво ми се е случило толкова е може би въпросът, който си задавате. Е, най-накрая взех книжка (след като ме късаха 3 пъти – не беше забавно), като цяло започнах да мисля различно, да чета и да се интересувам повече. Утвърдих се пред себе си, станах още по-сигурна в това, което ще уча догодина в университета (посетих журналистически курс миналата седмица и се почувствах на мястото си).

Изредените неща са малка част от доказателството, че промяната е важна, неизбежна. Тя ще измени и блога, който ще стане по-цветен (не само буквално), пълен с информация, идеи, вдъхновение. Надявам се, че ще има неща, които да възбудят интереса на всяко момиче, жена. Просто се сбъдват мечти – не само моите, но и тези на хората, които ще участват в това – моята първа онлайн платформа (на която сте в момента). Очаквайте скоро!

Spice up your folder!

In this post I’m challenging your inner creativity to make something different for your boring folders, notebooks, etc.! I had this plain blue folder that I wanted to use sometimes at school or other lessons, but did not love it a lot. That’s when the idea of drawing a leopard print struck me. It was really not that difficult and it actually turned out better than expected. Following the easy steps below, you can achieve similar results using your own ideas!

Pop of Autumnal Colour

First days of November. Slightly warmer and sunnier than expected but feel so wonderful. Today I’m sharing an autumnal look with a lovely background in the back. If you look deep into all these colours of the leaves, you will realise what a colourful season it actually is. It’s not just rainy weather, wet socks and catching colds. It’s also about all those little moments and objects displayed all over Pinterest and tumblr (warm blankets, hot drinks, crisp weather, chunky sweaters, etc.) that make it such a cosy season.

Today’s post is not only focusing on what products I have used during the past month and have impressed me the most, but also objects and moments I have remembered and made me feel something differen. Transitioning into Autumn

Sunday evening as I’m writing this post, not really sure if I’m feeling nostalgic or not for those sunny careless days back in summer, or I’m excited for the autumnal season and upcoming Christmas holidays. Certainly there is always something to look forward to, always something or somebody that will inspire us to keep moving. That’s why I love going out and exploring. Doesn’t matter where, depends on you and your mood. Seek inspiration everywhere – in the trees, on the buildings, in the shops, on the street, etc. During a walk I had in the Old town of Plovdiv, just 15 mins away from home,  with my best friend we could see so many old-style houses, wonderful art shops and interesting people around every corner. I’ve been there perhaps a thousand times but there’s always something new to find! So whenever you feel down, go own, explore and refuel! It feels so much better!

Autumn Landscape

Autumn is officially here, cheries! And hopefully we will jump start this season with positive vibes! We’ll talk about trends, food, DIYs, and all kinds of inspiration. I know cold weather and rain may not be the most pleasant thing to all of you. But you can certainly make it less inferior by thinking in another way this year. Even though it is regarded as a dull season we can colour it in a thousand ways! We have all the clichès: pumpkin spice lattes, hot green teas, crisp air, fuzzy sweaters, movie nights, beautiful sceneries, and most importantly, cosy & quiet moments with your loved ones all to impatiently look forward to! These pictures I took with my friend Stella! We both went on this small adventure to find this lovely landscape as a background of our shoot.
