DIY: A Christmas Wreath

Happy Wednesday! Our Christmas DIY experience continues today. I have prepared for you an idea on how to make your own wreath without spending tons of money on a new one. Hope you like it!

What you’ll need:

  • A ring for your wreath
  • A few different ribbons
  • Some decoration (could be buttons, jewels or anything you decide would look good)
  • Glue (fabric glue, a glue gun, etc.)
  • Dress making pins

Here is a close look of the ribbons that I chose. What I will advise you is to make sure that one of them is wired if you want to make a bow on the bottom of your wreath so as to shape it easily.

Firstly, take one of the bows, pin the end and start wrapping it around the ring.

This is what it looked like when I wrapped it twice.

Then I picked up 2 of my other bows and wrapped them around the same way and pinned them in the beginning as well as in the end.

After that I picked my big wired ribbon and make a bow out of it.

That is how the whole wreath looks.

I decided that I would glue some plastic jewels to it in order to give it a more festive look.

You can do whatever your heart desires with the decoration. Be experimental and don’t forget to share your creations! See you again soon!
